Nintendo Dolphin

Si se acuerdan en el 2000 se estipulaba mucho sobre la nueva consola de nintendo, se decia tanto lo del DVD drive como el procesador nuevo. Al final esta consola nunca alio pero dejo como una huella en el mundo dado a su gran fracaso esta fue la consola con el nombre de prototipo "Dolphin"
Aca tienen una historia, se las dejo para que se burlen:

Well, the next generation of systems are coming pretty soon now. Nintendo's new system has been nicknamed the Dolphin Project. There are many names that have been going around that people say is the new name. Such as; Star Cube and Nintendo 2000. But still the most likely name is Dolphin.
The new system is supose to be unveiled at Nintendo's Space World on August 25th. The system is also suppose to be available this Holiday season (2000).
Main Processor
Nintendo Dolphin main processor is suppose to be made by IBM. Here are the specs of it:
CPU: IBM Gekko Proccesor
Clock Speed: 400 Mhz
System Memory: High speed DRAM
Memory Bus Bandwidth: 3.2 GB/second
Semiconductor Process 0.18 Micron Copper Technology

Graphics
The Dolphin's custom chip is designed by ArtX, Inc. of Palo Alto, CA. Here are some specs:
Clock Speed: 200 Mhz
Semiconductor Processor 0.18 Micron embedded DRAM Technology
Maximum Polygon Rate: roughly 10 million per sec.
Format
The new Nintendo system is suppose to have a Matsushita DVD drive capable of holding 4.3 GB. It is suppose to have game loading times comparable to the N-64 cartridges. I've also read that the system will have a small DVD disc similiar to a mini-disc size, which would prevent piracy.
Modem/Internet
At least a 56k modem
Internet Browser and E-mail software is guaranteed
Games
This system is suppose to feature the largest library of games for any system introduted in Nintendo history
